Due to construction on Woonasquatucket Avenue, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 27 (Broadway/Manton) effective immediately until further notice.  All trips on Route 27 (Broadway/Manton) will not travel on Woonasquatucket Avenue until further notice.

Route 27 (Broadway/Manton) detour is as follows:

ALL Inbound trips will travel via George Waterman Road.

Outbound trips will travel via George Waterman Road.

RIPTA, the State’s Mobility Manager, operates over 3,000 daily bus trips on over 50 bus routes throughout the state. In FY12, we provided over 20 million rides.
