The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour nine bus routes in the Providence area on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in order to accommodate event setup for the Cox Providence Rhode Races. Routes 14, 27, 28, 52, 54, 55, 57, 60, and 66 will be detoured all day and night on Saturday, May 2, 2015. The East Approach Trolley Pavilion will be closed and bus stops will be temporarily relocated during this time.
The following bus stops will be temporarily relocated:

The following routes will detour all day and night on Saturday, May 2, 2015:
Route 14 (West Bay):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the Downtown Exit, continue on Memorial Boulevard, right onto Exchange Street, and then right onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop X.
Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace via Francis Street, right onto Francis Street, left onto I-95 South, and then resume regular route.
Route 27 (Broadway/Manton Ave.):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to WashingtonStreet, continue left onto Exchange Street, and then turn left onto Exchange Terrace to temporary Bus Stop V.
Outbound trips will leave via Exchange Terrace and then resume regular route.
Route 28 (Broadway/Hartford Ave):
Please refer to the Route 27 (Broadway/Manton Ave.) detour.
Route 52 (Branch Ave.):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Washington Street, left onto Exchange Street, and then left onto Exchange Terrace to Bus Stop X.
Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace via a right onto Francis Street, left onto the I-95 on-ramp, left onto Rte. 146 North, and then resume regular route.
Route 54 (Lincoln/Woonsocket):
Please refer to the Route 52 (Branch Ave.) detour.
Route 55 (Admiral Street/Providence College):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Francis Street and Memorial Boulevard, left onto Memorial Boulevard, right onto Exchange Street, and then right onto Exchange Terrace to temporary Bus Stop W.
Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace via a right onto Francis Street and then resume regular route.
Route 57 (Smith Street):
Please refer to the Route 55 (Admiral Street/Providence College) detour.
Route 60 (Providence/Newport):
Inbound trips will travel regular route to Exchange Terrace. Passengers will be dropped off and picked up at Bus Stop X.
Outbound trips will leave Exchange Terrace, turn right onto Francis Street, right onto Memorial Boulevard, and then resume regular route.
Route 66 (URI/Galilee):
Please refer to the Route 14 (West Bay) detour.
