The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit) to accommodate the Thayer Street Art Festival Fete. The detour will be in effect from the first trip of the day until 8pm. For more information on the festival, visit http://festivalfete.com.
The following detour will be in effect on Sunday, September 25, 2016:
Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit):
Southbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Hope and Thayer Streets, continue onto Hope Street, right onto Angell Street, left onto Thayer Street and then resume regular route.
Outbound trips will travel the regular route.
