The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will implement fall service changes effective Saturday, September 22, 2012. RIPTA makes regular service adjustments three times a year in response to seasonal changes and/or passenger use.
These annual changes are minor and include trip time changes, as well as rescheduling for better on-time performance. Bus service to Providence Schools has will be reinstated for the academic year.
Passengers are strongly encouraged to check new schedules for how service changes may affect them.
The following routes will be affected by the fall service changes:

55 Admiral/Providence College
60 Providence/Newport
63 Broadway/Middletown Shopping
64 Newport/URI
66 URI/Galilee
67 Bellevue/Mansions
73 Fairlawn/CCRI
78 Beverage Hill/Newport Ave.
80 Armistice Boulevard
99 Providence/Pawtucket
