For the third year, PMG Charities is hosting a FREE festive holiday meal for Rhode Islanders in need. On Saturday, December 14th, from noon to 4 PM, organizers hope that 2,000 people will enjoy a free meal at the RI Convention Center along with holiday music, cookies, a coffee station, and snacks. Gift bags filled with toiletries will be distributed, and children will receive donated toys.
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will provide complimentary public transportation from Operation Stand Down, Amos House, McCauley House, and Crossroads to the RI Convention Center on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
How can you help? Complete the sponsorship form online or send a check to PMG Charities. You can also volunteer on the day of the event or donate supplies such as coats, gloves, hats, scarves, toilet paper, baby wipes, and travel size toiletries.
