The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour three bus routes in Providence on Saturday, July 2, 2016 to accommodate Aqua – a revolutionary water celebration.   Routes 27, 28, and 92 will be detoured from 10:00am to midnight. For more information on this event, visit http://www.thisisaqua.com/ .

The following routes will be detoured on Saturday, July 2, 2016:

Route 27 (Broadway/Manton):

Inbound trips will travel the regular route.

Outbound trips leaving East Approach will turn right onto Exchange Terrace, right onto Exchange Street, right onto Fulton Street, right onto Dorrance Street, left onto Sabin Street and then resume regular route. 

Route 28 (Broadway/Hartford):

Please refer to the Route 27 (Broadway/Manton) detour.

Route 92 (RI College/Federal Hill/East Side):

EAST: Trips will travel the regular route.

WEST:  Trips from Kennedy Plaza will turn right onto Dorrance Street, left onto Sabin Street and then resume regular route.
