The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced today that the Authority will be hosting a job fair on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at RIPTA’s Headquarters located at 705 Elmwood Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island.

RIPTA is recruiting for the following open positions:

• Diesel Mechanic: RIPTA will provide CDL training for this position. Applicant must have a CDL permit with General Knowledge, Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement permits to start employment.
• Utility Workers (CDL with Passenger, General Knowledge and Air Brake Endorsements required)
• RIde Van Operators (CDL with Passenger and General Knowledge Endorsement required)    
• HVAC Technician (CDL with Passenger, General Knowledge and Air Brake Endorsements required)
• Project Manager
