The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced today that the Authority will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10:00am – 1:00pm at RIPTA’s Headquarters located at 705 Elmwood Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island.

RIPTA is currently recruiting for the following open positions:

RIde Van Operators:

CDL with Passenger and General Knowledge Endorsements required.

Utility Workers:

CDL with Passenger, Air Brake and General Knowledge Endorsements required.

Diesel Mechanics:

RIPTA will provide CDL training for this position. Applicant must have a valid CDL permit with Passenger, Air Brake and General Knowledge Endorsement permits to start employment.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for these vacant positions at the job fair.  Pre-Screening for the Van Operator position will be conducted during the job fair.
