The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will operate all regular fixed-route buses and trolleys on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in observance of Veterans Day, an official state holiday. RIPTA will also offer free service on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017, to all Rhode Island veterans with proof of eligibility.
RIde and Flex Services
The statewide RIde Program will operate only ADA trips on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The RIde reservation line (461-9760) will be staffed on Saturday, but the Flex Service reservation line (1-877-906-FLEX) will not be staffed. RIPTA Flex Services will not be available on November 11th, except for Route 210 (Kingston Flex Service), which will run on the holiday schedule. Regular service for both RIde and Flex will resume on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
Kennedy Plaza
All RIPTA offices, including the Photo Identification Office and Ticket Sales Office in Kennedy Plaza, will not be staffed on the holiday.
