RIDOT and RIPTA are currently constructing a major transit hub on the border between Pawtucket and Central Falls, in the heart of the Conant Thread Transit-Oriented Development District. Beginning in summer 2022, this hub will serve both RIPTA buses and MBTA commuter rail trains. The project also includes the creation of a Transit Emphasis Corridor through the middle of Downtown Pawtucket along Goff Avenue and Exchange Street.
