The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 1 (Eddy/Gaspee) on Saturday, June 14, 2014 to accommodate the Gaspee Days Parade.   The detour will be in effect from the first trip of the day on Saturday, June 14, 2014 until 2:00pm.    

Route 1 (Eddy/Gaspee) will detour as follows:

Inbound trips leaving the Warwick Senior Services Center will take a left onto Warwick Avenue, left onto Broad Street, and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips leaving Providence will travel regular route to Broad Street and Warwick Avenue, right onto Warwick Avenue, right onto Pilgrim Parkway, and then a right at the Warwick Senior Services Center.

Route 1 (Eddy/Gaspee) trips traveling to Ann & Hope will detour as follows:

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Post Road and Warwick Avenue, left onto Warwick Avenue, left onto Broad Street, and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Broad Street and Warwick Avenue, right onto Warwick Avenue, right onto Post Road, and then resume regular route.
