The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 6 (Prairie/R.W. Zoo) and the R-Line (Broad/North Main) on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in order to accommodate the Dominican Parade.   The detours will be in effect from 9:00am until 1:00pm. 

The detours are as follows:

ROUTE 6 (PRAIRIE/R.W. Zoo):

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to Eddy Street, right onto Eddy Street, left onto Thurbers Avenue, right onto Prairie Avenue and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Prairie and Thurbers Avenues, left onto Thurbers Avenue, and then right onto Eddy Street through to Broad Street.

R-LINE (BROAD/NORTH MAIN):

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to the intersection of Broad and Eddy Streets, right onto Eddy Street, left onto Potters Street, right onto Broad Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Broad and Potters Streets, left onto Potters Street, right onto Eddy Street through to Broad Street and then resume regular route.
